The lead informs, inspires and invests them to join the fellowship program and partner with schools where our fellows can work. The Lead builds the brand of Aikaarth by representing our organization at institutions and plays a key role in building enduring partnerships with them.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting an ambitious vision for Recruitment and Partnerships; and creating and implementing the strategy to achieve the vision.
- Finding and creating avenues and opportunities to inspire and influence potential candidates to join our fellowship; and being able to achieve our fellowship recruitment goals.
- Building and managing partnerships with a wide range of external stakeholders such as art communities, sport groups, heads of colleges, heads of schools, towards building a strong brand and awareness of the program.
- Create networks that will help the recruitment and partnership team year on year.

- Conceptualising and leading the marketing, advertising, PR and media strategy and initiatives for Aikaarth
- Defining the overall brand identity, brand strategy and core messages of Aikaarth, while developing and executing strategies to build brand awareness; seek out and leverage opportunities to feature
- Leading and managing the Marketing and communication team (including creative writers, graphic designers, photographers, social media handlers, etc), developing a strategy for them, implementing the strategy with them, guiding and giving them feedback, evaluating measurable impact of communication activities.
- Initiating and managing strategic external relationships to support the goals of Aikaarth, including (as relevant) with multilateral organisations, NGOs, events, media outlets, etc.

The project operations lead has the role of ensuring that all operations run smoothly. The lead coordinates with all the various teams, fellows and all the other internal and external stakeholders, ensuring we are all working together for the bigger goal and an even more bigger purpose. The lead also takes the responsibility of managing all the events that happen at Aikaarth, the two important ones being the Aikaarth celebration, where all our children, fellows, leadership team, their families and friends, all our external stakeholders and others come and celebrate; while our children present everything they learned; and Empact – PLAN The (Re)Solution, a social entrepreneurship event.
