There is a need to awaken latent emotions and make the youth more sensitive.I see and I know that the students of our college look forward to completing their assigned activity.I am sure they give their best on the field. The experiences that they have gathered will surely make them more empathetic. Aikaarth was an initiative that was so needed when it started. It will continue to hold its place of relevance forever as the need to connect with the less privileged is not something which comes naturally to the gifted counterparts. Initiatives like Aikaarth can be the catalyst. Aikaarth’s potential is huge. Farsighted leadership will play a key role in turning its vision into reality. I envision Aikaarth to bring all under graduate college students of the twin cities under a single banner which will reach out to the underprivileged children and ensure that they are equipped with life skills that formal education does not give.
My message to Educational institutes would be “Join along in this endeavour to make a difference”

Aikaarth is a good and a structured program which takes into consideration the children, fellows and mentors. It has a consistent program for children due to which their learning is enhanced. The knowledge of the mentor about the community has immense value to the fellows. The ownership and fellowship experience drives fellow’s projects. The experience also provides them a broader perspective.

Empact by Aikaarth is a great initiative to bring Social Entrepreneurs and young minds together. It provided a platform for both fellows and us to interact. Fellows while working with entrepreneurs, getting to know our stories; they understand how enterprises work, the problems we are solving and all that we do. Involving fellows in problem solving was an amazing idea.
Young minds always have great ideas. As a mentor, I could help them shape their ideas. I got few amazing ideas and interns. I enjoyed and loved the way they were thinking to solve the problems. While Empact exposes students to real time problems and problem solving skills, for enterprises it is a chance to guide, interact and find new talent.
